Just a thought....

Do you suppose Millie believes it is her mission in life to humiliate me whenever possible? This evening I went to make us dinner thinking there was leftover taco meat in the fridge. WRONG! We had everything else, but I guess all the meat was eaten yesterday when our company was here. What I thought was meat, was just kidney beans. Well, I can go without meat, but Autumn specifically requested it. Knowing how *we* indulge her, I loaded the girls up and off we went to the super market. At Publix, I only needed four items (milk, dryer sheets, canned tomatoes and ground beef). While on the spaghetti aisle, I hear a gushing of water and turn and see that it is indeed coming from MY cart. I was puzzled at first because the milk was in the bottom and it didn't look like it had suffered any major damage. Next thing I know Millie is saying UH OH. Really Millie? I see a stocker on the aisle and tell him I need help. Of course, this was right before I went through the debate ...

Sorry I haven't been updating. It has been insane! My mom left tonight around 8 pm. I think she is nuts. I could not do that kind of driving anymore, especially with four children in tow. Here is our exploits and in no particular order! Free putt putt. Most of the cousins. Autumn has a strange golfing stance. Millie did pretty good. Strike a pose! Pine Mountain View. Nina. Moi. The "High School" you graduated from! ha ha Then began.... Noodle wars! I love Abby's ballerina pose and look at Millie's face!!! Millie had some fun! Abby fashioned a shower out of the noodle. In your face. I look forward to being able to have a normal conversation with you soon. I love you. Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo The Count: 34 days of Parade Rest without you.

We're Beachy!

The weather hasn't really cooperated with us lately. Even as I checked it this morning, we were due for rainstorms, but the last two days, it has been in the forecast and no rain, no thunder. I decided it looked about as sunny as it has in several weeks and that we were heading to the beach. Autumn hopped right in. Right before we went swimming, we sat down at a picnic table and had lunch. I brought Zaxby's. Poor Millie fell right off the table and bumped her face and chin. Poor girl. Anyway, when we were finished eating, your mom and dad showed up and we all went swimming. Millie was very brave, more so than any other times because she had that little floatie. We were building sandcastles. The girls loved it! Autumn building the moat. Relaxing. I think I wore them out! SCORE! All three girls. I was sitting at the shore talking to Devonne on the phone and Millie just took off. You know she went out where the water was over her head. I had to...

Can you see our birds? That is two of them, but there are usually like 4 or 5. They are very small birds, but they are mean as all get out. If you open the door to walk out, they start screeching and fly right at you. I know I shouldn't be intimidated by such small birds, but I don't want to be pooped upon, or have my eyes pecked out. They keep leaving their droppings all over the concrete right below them. What a nice howdy do to our visitors. Ding Dong. Oh please come in and mind the bird crap. I don't know how I am supposed to get rid of them. Do you suppose it is God's little joke. As soon as you leave, I get wasps (in the house), crickets (in the house), SPIDERS everywhere, ANTS all over and now mean birds! You should see me when I work up enough nerve to go out there and shoo them away. Once they start flying at me, the screaming begins. I wonder what our neighbors think of me. Hmmmm I could try shooting them. You think that would keep them away? ...
