We are just getting home!!! Millie cried at drop off this morning. It makes me sad when that happens, but I guess after being out of school from Friday-Monday, it makes for a little adjustment for Millie. I cannot believe she is wearing that dress! The one Autumn wore when you came home from the last deployment. I think Millie looks so very sweet. Autumn did not want to get out of bed. I sent alarm clock Millie in there to wake her up. I overheard Millie saying, "wakey, wakey Harvest." When that didn't work, she just started screaming, "WAKE UP HARVEST!" Autumn replied, "I didn't nap very well last night." I feel her on that because I didn't either! After dropping the girls off, it was time for: Side push ups. Oh my gosh. I'm into the last 3 weeks of Insanity and it is all the max workouts. Today was Max Plyo which has a crap load of push ups in it. My whole upper body is sore. That makes me feel good. After workin...

Taking Autumn to school this morning, Millie and I wore our pj's. Of course, Millie was all sorts of decked out in jewelry. Autumn brought her recorder with her. When we got to school, Autumn said she wanted me to walk her in. Of course she did! I was in my pjs after all! Miss Kari and Miss Daisy were amused. Once we dropped Autumn off, Millie and I headed over to West Georgia Eye Care to get her lenses popped back in. They told me there wasn't anything I could really do (like put super glue in the glasses) to make it so that she couldn't pop them out. They also told me this was the first time they've ever had a situation like this. I'm not surprised. When they walked out to hand me the glasses, I asked Millie if she was going to break her glasses again. She promptly replied, "Yes!" Everyone laughed, including me!!! Millie also told me while we were in there, "Millie. No school." She had the biggest grin on her face! W...

We went to church. Millie cried about being left in the nursery, but when I checked on her between SS and service, she was doing fine. I took Autumn to the four year old class this time. Actually, I gave her the option, did she want to stay with Millie or go with the kids her age. She decided on the kids her age. That meant I had to pick her up and take her to service with me though. There is a children's church where they leave before the sermon starts, but Autumn said she wanted to stay with me. She did well. She knows Brother Tommy and asked me if that was him and why was he yelling at us. I tried to contain my amusement of her assessment because fact of the matter is, he wasn't yelling at all. The sermon was about friendship today and I have to admit, it struck a chord with me. I have done a lot of complaining about not having any friends here (besides you and your mom) and I know that it is because of me. I am clearly the one with a problem and I guess until ...

I checked out the weather today and it looks like things could get nasty for us next week. I'm going to do some prepping in the yard just in case. I need to get all the kids toys (pool & sandbox) in the shed. I think I'll even go on and move the patio furniture to the shed. I don't want to worry about projectiles if we get any bad wind. I'm going to unplug the pump to the pool and bring the hoses in. Do you think I should try and get the Jeep into the garage? I'm not sure what we should be expecting this far inland. The girls and I had a nice day today. I guess because the overnight temperatures have been lower, the water in the pool is quite cool. The girls have been begging to go swimming for days and we haven't been able to due to weather. Millie was such a good girl with her glasses today. She wore them the entire day, even at nap time. She did not want to take them off at all. I hope this means tomorrow will go well too. Autumn mak...
