What is going on with us.
Here is the low down. Tomorrow is Emelia's birthday party, after that, we'll be busy packing, packing, packing. The movers arrive on Tuesday to pack our things. Packing will take place Tue/Wed, then Thurs/Fri they will be loading it onto the truck. Fri/Sat we will be feverishly preparing our house for our final out inspection that takes place on Monday (Jun 6th). Needless to say, I'm really starting to realize the pressures of moving. I think the thing that I'm the most worried about is the girls do not have a lot of summer clothing (especially Emelia). I'm hoping we have enough to get by on our trip and then we will purchase some more items once we get to Georgia or if need be, along the way.
In an effort to maintain some sort of security about our travel and whereabouts I'll just say we'll be leaving in approximately two weeks. We definitely plan to stop in Seattle, Portland and St Louis.
As of Monday, we will most likely not have any Internet, although once we move out of our house and into the hotel, we should have some Internet service. Our cell phones will be working and everyone who needs our cell phone number, should have it already! Sean is going to make sure we have service through Canada, but there is no telling if we will get any signal through some of the more rural parts of Canada.
I will post when I can and you should definitely expect to see at least one final post before we leave here with pictures from the birthday party! I'm so excited, yet anxious to begin this new transition.
In the meantime, we've been soaking up some beautiful Alaska weather (think upper 60's and today we even hit 70 degrees!).
The first swim this year!
My poor girls are so white. They spent several hours outside yesterday and got a little sunburn from that. We are definitely going to have to start beefing up our sunblock!
Autumn Bottom.
Meewah!
Doesn't she look like she is saying, "what's up?"
Who cares if she is riding it backwards, she is having fun!
You see that bruise on her noggin? I was helping a friend clean up her house (on Emelia's birthday!!) and moved the garbage can without realizing Emelia was hanging on to it for balance. She fell right over and smacked her head on the corner of a door frame. Poor girl!
Autumn and her bestie Riley. This is probably the one thing that worries me most. Autumn already went through losing her friend Dylan when he moved to New Mexico. It was really tough on her. I'm not sure how she is going to handle moving away from Riley. The one very fortunate thing for us is that she will be gaining a Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle, Triplet cousins all within an hour of where we are moving! My side of the family will be a short drive away too!
She is such a beautiful girl!
Sometimes, when you are a little crabby, you need a nap!
Trouble makers!
Who you talkin' to?
Best friends, best friends are we.
Autumn simulating an earthquake for Riley.
Until next time!
