Life is like a box of chocolates.
I probably have to give credit to Forest Gump or something, but we all know where that saying came from.
I haven't been doing a good job of keeping up with my blog lately. Guess I've been in a writing funk. The girls and I are having loads of fun though. One of our favorite things to do....
Picnic in the park. I'd say we do this at least once a week.
Autumn set her lunch up right on the playground.
We hang out.
Play around.
Peek a face.
The girls really are getting used to this 80 + degree weather in November.
Every day at the park, Emelia gets better and better at navigating the equipment.
She isn't really afraid of much out on the playground.
Sweet Autumn.
She's my dare devil. Willing to do just about anything.
One of Emelia's big accomplishments, riding the big kid swing. I won't lie, the whole time I am freaked out she is going to fall off, but so far, she has held on tight.
This whole swinging thing makes me a complete
Basket case.
Emelia hanging with her cousin, Taylor. Those two are two months different in age and I would have thought that they'd be the best of friends, but they fight something horrible. Maybe when they are a little older.
She had lots of practice in Alaska with this kind of obstacle.
I recently got to teach the girls how to roll down a hill!
Enjoying a ride around the pool. Autumn always cuts it so close to the corners. Grandma had to rescue her once. One wheel of the bike over the deep end of the pool. Autumn was smart enough to stay completely still.
Driving Miss Millie.
What else do we have going on this month?
Pig pile on Sean.
Emelia all dolled up for Sean's work T-day party.
No rules.
Roww Smiles.
Christmas socks. Autumn decided they must get hung up NOW.
We adopted a sweet elf, but haven't been able to agree on a name. Sean wants to call her Clarice (you know Silence of the Lambs), but I think that is majorly creepy. I'd like to call her Gwen (like Stefani, Sean's not so secret celebrity crush).
Cheese.
Tonight we went out to Warm Springs and looked at Christmas lights, rode a little train and
Said hello to the big man.
Doesn't hardly feel like Christmas when it is nearly 70 degrees outside, but I guess it is better than subzero temperatures.
The entire reason I titled this post the way I did is this very last photo. I guess it just reminds me of Forest. Thank you for stopping by. I'm going to do better about the posting.
The Jordan's.
