A North Pole Breakfast.

Have you heard about the Elf on the Shelf yet? Seems a lot of folks are getting into it. We've named our Elf, Aurora and this morning she surprised the girls with a letter from Santa and a North Pole Breakfast.

Autumn woke up first and when she found Aurora in the kitchen, she started laughing and said, "Our elf brought me donuts."

I read her the letter from Santa, then she began to eat.

Photobucket
Aurora was keeping her eyes on things.

Anything sweeter than dunking a "snowflake" into your ho, ho, hot chocolate?

Photobucket
I think not!

Such a sweet girl.

After some time, Emelia woke up and she was just as delighted to see what Aurora had done.

Emelia has been extremely helpful this year with regard to our project Declutter the Jordan's lives.

She has been breaking one ornament after another. I guess Autumn didn't break so many because when we lived in Alaska, we had carpet all over the house. These hardwood floors are unforgiving for the clumsy. You drop something and you can almost guarantee it will shatter! Anyway, I've tried putting the breakable stuff at the top of the tree, Emelia has taken care of the lower half. I even placed my jingle bells on the bottom as my MWS or "Midget Warning System."

I sure do love this time of year.

I wonder what Aurora has in mind for tomorrow?

The Jordan's.

I love the whole "Elf on a Shelf" idea but you seem to make it all more fun! The "MWS" is one I am going to use too. Our youngest grandson is two and both he and our new cats will be curious about the tree :)
