Chattahoochee Bend State Park

Photobucket
Took the girls on a camping trip.

Photobucket
We found this little gem for rent (we didn't have to pay for two nights).

Photobucket
Autumn calls this our home for tonight.

Photobucket
There was garbage in the fire pit, Autumn thought it was disgusting.

Photobucket
Millie wasn't bothered.

After we got our stuff tossed in our adirondak, we had lunch then headed out for a hike.

Photobucket
Exploring.

Photobucket
Pretty sure I can do this.

Photobucket
Maybe not.

Photobucket
The view.

Photobucket
The trail we were on said it was one mile to the observation tower, but Autumn insisted on stopping to explore every log, every vine and get a picture of her every time!

Photobucket
The great thinker.

Photobucket
Wow.

Photobucket
Up a tree.

Photobucket
After about four hours, we made it to the observation tower..... just kidding.

Photobucket
Cheese!

Photobucket
Trying to get Millie to smile.

Photobucket
Autumn came down the stairs telling us she had caught a lizard.... she was just kidding!

Photobucket
More monkeying around.

Photobucket
Millie and I took the bridge, but Autumn all but insisted taking this route. She did quite well and had very little assitance from Sean.

We made it back to camp and were looking to have some more fun.

Photobucket
Autumn the ghost!

Photobucket
Our pet lizard for this camping trip.

Photobucket
Marshmallow time!!!!

Photobucket
I wanted a picture of my marshmallow, but I innocently snapped a picture of Sean in the background. I think this is about right too!!!!!! He's our big softy!

Photobucket
My smore!

Photobucket
Millie working on her marshmallow.

Photobucket
MMMMMMMMM!

Photobucket
Millie got tired of messing with the stick, so she just went to see how many she could shove in her mouth.

Photobucket
Autumn is always amused by our antics.

Photobucket
We all had a good laugh over this.

Photobucket
Building a tower.

Like all good dad's, Sean was talking to the girls about the chupacabra. He walked into some of the unused adirondaks and really freaked Millie out.

Photobucket
Millie is showing us all where "gabba" or the chupacabra is. She also said, "scare me."

Photobucket
Waiting on night fall.

Photobucket
Once it got dark, Millie took the opportunity to try and fix her eye.... JUST KIDDING! We were telling scary stories!!!! This is Millie's version. "Gabba! House! Scare me!"

Photobucket
I decided to roll with the man with a hook story! GENIUS!!!

Photobucket
Now Autumn's turn....... "There was a captain, with a hook!" (All spoken in scary child from the corn movie voice)...... "He waited for me to go to bed, then he came for me and went tap, tap, tap..... with his hook." Wow, this story is getting super creepy Autumn! What happened next? "He came into the house and then really messed up my room!!!!!!!!!!!!!" As the night progressed, scary went from messing up my room, to pooping on the floor. I quite agree, those things are very scary Autumn!!!

We mostly had no issues over night. I had a hard time getting Millie into her sleeping bag though. She kept kicking it off and moving all over. At one point I had to get up to use the restroom and the girl freaked out and was screaming for me until I came back. Other than that, we slept sound. Well, that and Sean didn't bring a sleeping bag and got a little chilly by the morning. The rest of us all had sleeping bags and those of us who used them, were nice and toasty!!

Photobucket
Good morning SUNSHINE!

Photobucket
Good morning SUNSHINE again!

Photobucket
Waiting in the car while we packed up!

Photobucket
Who wouldn't be happy with a bag of double stuff!

Photobucket
On the way home we stopped in Newnan. They had these really neat painted horses that the girls wanted to look at.

Photobucket
We found this stage and decided we needed a little more

Photobucket
