Flat Rock Climbing

At least one enjoyable part of Georgia life is Flat Rock park. I often run near it, sometimes through it, most of the time around it! I enjoy going to this park when Sean is around. You do have to be mindful of the homeless people although I have mostly found them to be harmless. Parts of the park are run down. I don't believe there are very many operating restrooms in there (they keep shutting them down because the vagrants try to live in them). Anyway, under the right conditions, it is a great park.

We decided we had to take the girls rock climbing since Millie was so determined to do it.

NH1 is up first.

Just kidding! This isn't the rock climbing.

We're just posing!!

We like to have a picture taken.... Can you tell??

Sean getting the gear ready. People probably think I help in these endeavors, but I'm simply a bystander that does as she is told.

Testing it out.

Millie doesn't even need ropes. She got to the top all by herself without ropes.

For that matter, both girls did. Then they started dancing because "they're so fancy."

Autumn trying to get off the ground with some help from Sean.

To be totally honest, that is about as far as I made it too!

She just could not get up to the top. She also has a problem where she doesn't listen or follow Sean's directions. Seriously, I have no idea where she gets that from.

NH2's turn.

Millie was literally the "ROCK STAR" of our bunch.

She was the only girl that made it to the top.

To our defense, I believe she cheated a little bit!!!

When the girls had their share of rock climbing fun, we headed over to the playground. We went out on the rocks too. Millie fell and was really upset with Sean. It was his fault she fell.....

I nearly had a heart attack because those rocks are slippery and I was pretty sure she was going to slide down and get busted up on the way to the murky water at the bottom.

She didn't! Just a little bit wet and muddy. Millie of course loves to have her pants wet and muddy.

A picture of the rocks.

Another pose from the girl.

We are planning a trip to Gatlinburg for October. We want to hit up Clingman's Dome (the highest point in Tennessee) as well as the Alpine Coaster. There will be apple picking or acquiring, hiking and probably pretty fall leaves. I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Jordan's.
