Lazy Mountain via Lazy Moose.

I did Lazy Mountain via Lazy Moose by myself back in May, but Sean and I wanted the girls to experience this mountain.

We actually had gone back and forth several times before deciding on this particular hike.

I'm not sure why they call it Lazy Mountain. That thing is a beast, but the girls did it!!

Autumn (12 years old): it was really dirty, muddy. It was immediately up, as soon as you started the trail. One star- do not recommend.
Emelia (10 years old): it was terrible. Too many down hills, too many up hills. A lot of bugs. Good views. Where is Arby's??
Deets: 8.7 miles
Elevation gain: 3,150 feet.
Max elevation: 3,783 feet.
1.0 mile 430 ft gain, 2.0 mile 1,000 ft gain, 3 mile 1,725 ft gain, 4.0 mile. 2,700 ft gain, 4.35 mile 3,150 ft gain.
Above the first picnic bench it was muddy, slippery. Autumn fell, something like six times according to her. We saw multiple others fall. At the peak, was beautiful with little wind. The kids were not wrong about the bugs.

Here is our day in pictures:

Autumn at the peak.

We made it back to the car!

Home sweet home!
