Outback Special.
We had such a productive day here in Alaska. Autumn and I decided it was time to do a little spring cleaning (although it does not feel like spring at all!). Autumn loves being outside, so when I told her she was going to help me clean the garage, she said:
Yeah right lady, you're crazy!!!
This is what it looked like at the start.
This is what it looked like three hours later. Not a huge difference I know, but I got rid of a lot of junk and swept all that dirt off the garage floor. I got rid of the old plants (that I accidentally killed during a bout with minus 20 degree weather) and Autumn was having a blast playing with it all.
Autumn's version of tilling the soil.
Checking the dirt for dirtiness.
Something Autumn is getting very good at (even better than me):
Ice walking.
We did some walking around our neighborhood to soak up the beautiful sun. Someone was following us though and Autumn just couldn't stop looking back at them.
Hurry Autumn, maybe you can catch it. She kept bending down, trying to touch it. She looked confused when all she could feel was the pavement.
After nap time, Autumn and I met Cindy, Travis and Dylan over at the Oasis.
Autumn and Dylan had snacks. Then Cindy, Travis and I escorted Autumn and Dylan on a date to the Outback Steak House.
Autumn had fettuccine pasta with scallops and shrimp. She really enjoyed it and so did I.
I am ready for bed. I am feeling a little under the weather. I plan to put a call in to the doctor tomorrow and I am hoping like crazy I can get an appointment this week. On another note, Autumn still has not nursed (two days now). That seems to be done. It is such a relief. I love Autumn dearly, but I am glad to close that chapter of my life, no regrets, no sadness. Now I need to make a date with Victoria's Secret!!!!
So as usual, I will close with the count, but I could not decide for the life of me which photo to use, so I'll post both. I love you much Sean James. Do well in school tomorrow.
