Hallomus.
What is Hallomus? That seems to be the big question. Truth is, Sean and I made it up. We were concerned that he would deploy around this time of year and we wanted to make sure we celebrated both Halloween and Christmas, so we came up with Hallomus. It turns out, that we appear to be in the clear as far as deployment, but we went on with the celebration.
Autumn's gift, Jenny's wine (more on that later) and my gift- the NOOK!
That bottle of wine is freshly drained Vampire Blood. Jenny was throwing the kids a monster's bash and we wanted to bring our hostess a gift. I hope she enjoys that whole bottle....... with me! Thank you Jenny for the wonderful party.
Back to my kids.
Emelia wasn't left out. We gave her
One of Autumn's old toys. I wonder if she even knew?
Man I think she is going to eat it.
After Autumn opened her gifts, we got the girls dressed up.
I want to be clear on this, it was 32 degrees outside and the wind was blowing. It was painful to go trick or treating, but Autumn really wanted to and we all had a wonderful time.
Do you see our "skelemon" toddler? Autumn placed that skeleton in there and when Sean and I saw it, we knew we had to set it outside like that. It was super creepy!
Autumn flapping her wings and trying to sound like a penguin. To that end, I was a total slacker and take 100 percent responsibility for this, but I didn't get Autumn a new costume in time this year, so she is wearing one from last year and Emelia is wearing the very first costume Autumn ever had. Autumn will have to get a new costume next year, that thing is too short for her!
Autumn and Emelia holding hands. Doesn't that just melt your heart?
Autumn waiting to say trick or treat.
It was icy too. Autumn fell at least once. There were several kids that fell in our drive way.
After taking Autumn around a bit, Emelia and I stayed at the house to hand out candy (outside because our porch light is burned out!), Sean and Autumn made some more rounds. Once the crowd died down, we headed over to Jenny's for the monster's bash. We had a wonderful time over there and it was nice to be inside.
Just a few more pictures.
This is Emelia- 5 months old.
Autumn's first Halloween- 8 months old.
Hope you had a "hisserific" Halloween!
The Jordan's.
