A random act of kindness.
We've been busy this week. Yesterday, I watched Jenny's kiddos for her- Izzy (who is one day younger than Autumn)and Isaac who turned one in September. We survived 12 hours together and managed to have some fun too.
It's been lightly snowing off and on, so we put the kids in their snow gear and headed outside.
What a doll. Let me tell you, Emelia was smitten with Isaac.
Isaac was like a little puppy, picking up scraps of food the girls left behind. He wasn't very interested in going outside- I blame it on the hot pink snow pants. I couldn't find anything boyish to put on him.
Sean and the girls took to snow removal. I bet Jenny didn't know I'd put her kids to work!
For the most part, the girls did an excellent job of sharing and playing nice. There was one incident where I put them in time out for hitting each other and told them they had to stay there until they said they were sorry. No kidding, they both sat in time out for 30 minutes before they finally whispered they were sorry to one another.
Autumn's turn!
Now Izzy.
You better watch out! She'll get you!
Autumn taking a quick snack break.
Izzy taking her break too.
Oh how I love my Emelia Squealiah!
I guess after hanging out with us girls all day, Isaac had enough. I hid some M&M's in my cupboard and he was more than happy to quietly sit there and eat them. It was a lot of fun to have a little boy around.
I cannot blame him for wanting some time to himself!
Sean gave me the opportunity to go to Barnes and Noble by myself. I wanted to buy a cover for my Nook. After I made my purchase, I went over to Starbucks and got myself a hot tea. I was going to buy myself a chocolate cupcake, but a stranger in line ahead of me, purchased it for me. I was so shocked and thankful.
Here's to a wonderful Sunday. Wish you could see the snow falling.
The Jordan's.
