Day 9 of our big fat trip and it is Father's day.

We started off Day 9 with me making a promise to Sean.... I'd try not to yell at him for Father's day. Man, I'm a great wife! We start the day in Boise, Idaho and I guess I was just ready to get out of that place because we were on the road at 6 am.

The best part of today, in my estimation, is seeing this sign:

Welcome to Utah! Utah has got to be one of the prettiest states in the lower 48.

I really enjoyed seeing the low lying clouds.

Arizona isn't the only place with red rocks!

We drove 520 miles today and ended in Vernal, UT. Just outside this stop is Dinosaur National Monument. We stayed the night in a Mariott that was really, quite strange. I'll link it, check it out if you want! Utah has a lot of weird stuff that I don't particularly care for, but something they did right was:

McDonald's! That was the biggest McDonald's I have EVER been in and this was a tiny, tiny town! Autumn had a blast! I think we sat in there for two hours and just let the girls go wild. Then we went back to our blue room, had some sort of a dinner (Mexican?) and slept, slept, slept. I used all the luxury bath items and felt like a new woman. Personally, I had a great Father's day!! :-) I love you Sean!
