Whatever happened to Roww?
Roww was accidentally left behind in Canada. I called the hotel we stayed at in the Yukon and fortunately, Roww was still there! I gave the desk clerk our forwarding address and thanked her profusely for holding on to Roww for us. Once we got to Grandma and Grandpa Jordan's house, I guess I was expecting Roww to be waiting on us. Little did I know there was a mail strike in Canada. After several weeks passed and still no Roww, I decided to call back.
I left a message with the hotel and several hours later we got a phone call. The desk clerk who took our address down the first time, misplaced it. They had been waiting for us to call back. Grandpa Jordan gave them our address and a few short weeks later we got a package in the mail.
Sean and I knew what was in the package, but Autumn had no idea.
Is it a coffee pot mom? No Autumn, you have to open it.
Is it a bag mom? No Autumn, you have to open it.
Can you see the excitement on her face?
Autumn exclaims "Roww was in the mail mom!"
Just so you know how important Roww is to Autumn, I've decided to include some pictures of Autumn, growing up with Roww (this post is going to make me cry). You will soon see that Roww has been around for every major event in Autumn's life.
Autumn, just before her second birthday, having dinner with Roww and other friends.
Roww was a great source of comfort when Daddy was deployed.
A great sleeping mate.
Hiking buddy.
Welcoming Daddy home from Afghanistan.
Visiting Eagle River Nature Center in Alaska.
Welcoming baby sister, Emelia, into the world.
Learning how to ride a bike.
A friend to share secrets with.
Ring around the rosie partner.
Visiting the reindeer.
Riding the reindeer.
Dressing up in a fairy princess outfit and napping with sister.
Watching the fireworks in town square- Anchorage, Alaska.
The thought of being without Roww is un"bear"able!
She cannot even watch!
A playmate.
Most importantly, a friend.
The last picture we got of Autumn and Roww before Roww was sadly left behind.
I just have to say a big thank you goes out to the Yukon Motel in Canada for reuniting Autumn and Roww! Without you, we couldn't have this:
The Jordan's.
