Kaitlyn's 6th Birthday Party Celebration.

Since moving to Georgia, I've gone home at least once a month. September was no exception. It was Kaitlyn's birthday party and I wanted to be there for it.

Here are our pictures!

Taylor is so cute. I wish you could see Emelia and Taylor together, they are such a hoot.

There was swimming and a slip in slide.

Swinging.

Photobucket
Contemplating drowning. Taylor did go in the pool later in the day and yes, Devonne dove in after her fully clothed.

Autumn swimming with her cousins.

My lone nephew on my side of the family, Cole!

I mainly took this photo for Sean so that he could see Autumn was putting her legs behind her finally. She had been doing this walk sort of swim thing. She really is getting the hang of it.

Check out those purple lips.

Tasha (behind Tasha is Mrs Sherrill, she is and always will be my second mom! Her son, Shawn was my best friend growing up. I've known them since I was in the 5th grade).

We moved from purple lips to purple tongue.

Photobucket
The kids really did get a kick out if it!

Photobucket
My niece Jordan and Kaitlyn's sister. Autumn is confused about Jordan's name because it is also our last name. A few times I hollered "Autumn Jordan!" and both girls came running.

Photobucket
Matching (lips and shirt).

The littles eating.

Emelia tried like crazy to fall into that pool! Bad girl.

Overall it was a great weekend and a great birthday party. I really missed doing stuff like this, I grew up having backyard cookouts. Most everyone at the party was family or as close to family as you can get. I will say this (I'm sure she won't be reading unless someone tells her I said something, but) there was someone missing from the celebration. One of Kaitlyn's favorite relatives couldn't be bothered to show up, she was too busy spending time with her friends and couldn't take the time to change her plans. You would think in the case of scheduling conflict she would at least drop off a little card or maybe a birthday present, but again, she couldn't be bothered. How do you explain that to a six year old who is asking where you are? Worse yet, how about you call her the night before and promise to see her and drop her off a gift and then fail to follow through? All I am saying is, you suck.

Now that that is off my chest, I hope you enjoyed my pictures and Happy Birthday to the self proclaimed smartest kid in America! I love you Sarah and Kaitlyn Marie.

The Jordan's.
