The Trail of Blue Ice.
When I woke this morning, I saw that it was NOT raining.
It's been pretty rainy as of late, but the forecast called for rain later today.
I asked Sean if we could go to the Trail of Blue ice.
It's a low key, no elevation type trail.
If you are lucky, you'll see Salmon.
You can get glacier views too for very little work.
The clouds parted enough to see the glacier.
I have no idea which one that is.
This is from the Willwaw fish viewing area.
Not delicious yet.
There was another one really close by.
Upon closer look... it was salmon!
Thank you Sean.
Of course the worst cattle dog in the world cannot catch us a free salmon!
Dingo was in the water again and he started crying.
We are not sure if a fish bit him or he stepped on something, but he was limping some, licked his paw, jumped out of the water and acted like nothing happened.
Who knows?
On our way back to the car after only a two mile walk, my back started having spasms.
I swear it felt like I was having a seizure or something.
I won't lie, there was a lot of heavy breathing from me on this walk.
Day six post op and if I go slow enough, I can *almost walk with out a limp, but it takes a lot of energy to do it.
It hurts still to stand up straight, but I think a few more days in the recliner and I'll be able to move to the air mattress or a bed.
I am doing better on the stairs.
My right butt check has calmed down a lot!
When I came home from the hospital, it felt like my right butt cheek climbed a mountain all on its own. HA HA
Anyway, I asked if we could drive down and look at Portage Lake.
Byron Glacier in the background.
