Keeping busy.
Sean,
So much to tell you. This morning when Autumn woke up, she asked for you. She wanted you to know that even though you nearly drowned her last night, that she was fine. She looked all over the house for you and every where we went today, she was shouting out dada. I wish I could explain to her that you had to leave, but you will be back. Cindy offered a great distraction by going with me to check out the Family Zone. It is a nice place, but working out there was nearly impossible. I cannot count the number of times Cindy and I had to stop to put Autumn and Dylan back near the toys. We did discover a workout session in the gymnasium part of the Family Zone that takes place on Tuesday mornings. I am going to do that next week and Autumn is allowed to play in the gymnasium while we are working out.
Anyway, after that, we headed over to the Commissary and let Autumn and Dylan play in the Play Park. That ended abruptly when a little girl smashed Autumn to the floor and stood on top of her. I do not understand why I have to be the one to tell OTHER people's children what is acceptable or unacceptable behavior. That little girls mom was too busy drinking her Starbucks coffee to pay attention to her.
Autumn and I did our grocery shopping and headed home. I have chicken going in the crock pot now. It is that recipe that Jennifer told me about. Once I see how it turns out, I might take a photo.
Once Autumn went down for her nap, I took care of this:
Shoveling the driveway. I took care of our neighbor too. I am going to drive by Angie's house tomorrow and make sure her drive is taken care of.
Since you are not here, I feel it very important to inform you of our weather. It was freaking cold. Minus 10 on the way to the Family Zone, but it was very sunny. I snapped this photo.
Your dad called to check on us and see about the volcano. Nothing new to report there. Autumn woke up from her nap shortly after the phone call from your dad. She was in such a great mood.
Can I have that?
So happy.
My newest favorite photo!!
Autumn had this to say to you:
It was lonely without you last night. I miss you dearly. I don't think the next blog will be this long my dear. Just had a lot to tell you this time. Take care.
