Looking up.
It is difficult to deal with Autumn being sick without you. It is difficult dealing with me being sick without you. It is doubly difficult dealing with both. After our visit to the emergency room last night, I got Autumn off to bed almost immediately (she was worn out), but I was unable to fall asleep. I was back and forth to the bathroom a lot last night. Autumn woke up at 530 am this morning and that is what time we started our day. I feel as if I have been run over by an 18 wheeler or something. I just need some serious rest now. Every time I tried to nap today, the phone rang. I am turning the phones off tomorrow. If I do not get better, I cannot be the mom I need to be to take care of Autumn.
Autumn seems to be doing much better. We both had applesauce (Autumn kept hers down, I did not). For dinner, I gave Autumn the noodles from my Chicken noodle soup and I sipped on the broth. That seem to give Autumn quite a boost in energy. She even started playing.
After dinner, Autumn and I went upstairs and took care of laundry.
Then Autumn took her bath and went straight to bed. I finished up what needed to be done around the house. I have taken my medication, I drank some Gatorade that Cindy left for me (Thank you Cindy, I owe you big time). I had an accident that I wish to never speak of again after this, but let me say that when I get old, if I lose control over my body and cannot make it to the bathroom, please put me down. I made myself take a shower and get rid of the nastiness that has accumulated on me over the last few days. I brushed my teeth (and now I need a new toothbrush) and now I am off to bed. I am hoping that I can get some rest. I love you and miss you.
PS I hope that you are having a great time with your parents!!!
