84 is hot when you do not have A/C!

We've been really busy the last few days and really enjoying this weather. This is the best summer we've had so far. Today, Autumn and I invited my neighbors Eli (3.5) and Izabelle (2) to go to the concert on the lawn at the library.

We packed a picnic and headed over to the library. Once we got there and got settled, Autumn was enjoying some goldfish out of a ziplock bag, when she dropped a few and before I knew it, the birds were after all the kids. It was somewhat comical.

We danced and listened to the music and before long, all the kids were red faced and I knew it was time to call it a day.

When we got home, Amber and I set the pool up in the front yard and brought out hot water from the house. OK, so what if it is 84, the water from the hose is like 40 degrees and it is COLD!!! We filled up the pool and let the kids have at it.

I cannot tell you how many times she went down that slide!

Eli and Izabelle were having a good time too!

Eli is so sweet to Autumn. He calls her, "my Autumn". We sure are going to miss them when they leave.

We let the kids play their little hearts out. I could tell Autumn was about done in, so I took her in, washed her down and barely got a diaper on her before she knocked out. Izabelle had the same idea, but look where she fell asleep:

What a cutie! We had such a great day. We are looking forward to story time at the zoo tomorrow. Hope everybody is enjoying this Alaska weather, it won't be around for long!!
