Jambalaya

The other night we had Jambalaya.

You start with

More fresh veggies
Onion, celery, red bell pepper, green bell pepper.

Fresh veggies
Fresh herbs- Oregano, thyme (from my garden), garlic, tomato, jalepeno.

After chopping, dicing, mincing the fresh ingredients, we had to Alaskafy our Jambalaya with:

Reindeer sausage
Reindeer sausage.

Saute
Then saute your vegetables.

Add herbs
Add your herbs.

Add chciken stock
Now the chicken stock. Point of note. We used home made chicken stock. Sean makes it every few weeks. Then comes the trickery......

Green tea chicken stock
Sean made the chicken stock and then put it in the fridge. Unsuspecting Cherish saw that pitcher on the right and thought it was green tea. I almost drank it, but realized where on earth was the chicken stock....... That would have been gross.

Back to Jambalaya.

Final product
It was delcious!

So we have been having an exciting summer. Check out what was in our backyard.
