Thursday at our house.

On Thursday's Angie will be bringing Reagan and Riley to our house to play. If you recall, I was feeling a little anxious about it, but after today I know it is totally doable and even enjoyable. Reagan only cried one time and that was because Emelia accidentally beamed her in the head with the basket to the shopping cart. Poor girl. Reagan let me console her and after just a few seconds, she moved on.

While Emelia and Reagan played together, Autumn and Riley worked on big vs small and the letter A.

Let me show you.

Riley

Riley's A. She was pretty good at it. She just couldn't remember it was the letter A.

Autumn.

Autumn's A. Autumn also did pretty good. We practiced our flash cards too. Both girls did really well on that. Some of the cards Autumn knew and taught Riley, some of the cards Riley knew and taught Autumn. Both girls got stumped on a picture of a goose and guessed duck. I told them it wasn't a duck and Riley said, "If it isn't a duck, WHAT IS IT?" It cracked me up. She was so sassy about it, in a cute way.

Anyway, after a bit, Reagan and Emelia wanted to join in on the action.

Watch out, a tornado is coming through!!

Along the note of learning, Emelia has learned to wave hi and clap this week.

It is so cute to see her clap.

Emelia and Reagan wanted some snacks, so I set some out for them on the floor of the kitchen and Reagan decided the best way to grab a "turkey" off the floor was to....

Suck it up with her mouth. I was laughing hysterically and thinking to myself, I hope Angie isn't upset about this, my floor is clean after all!!

To a bigger girl who misses you,

And from me of course, we are so glad you are coming home tomorrow!!!

I guess I worried for nothing about this switch off from Angie to me. The girls did well (although it did get a little hectic right towards the end). Emelia was tired, Autumn got her arm stuck in the stair railing, Riley got a little fussy. Overall, I am calling it a success. Everybody got fed, did some learning, and I got some workout in. I know you'll be happy about this, I did my kettle bell workout!!! I am already feeling it too!

I love you and miss you much.

Your favorite wife and airman. xoxo

4 days of missing you.
