What a miserable day.

It is windy. It is raining/snowing/sleeting, you name it. I've always said I can take the cold, but the girls and I despise the wind with a passion. I guess all this weather has taken its toll in Alaska in general. Traffic was snarled on the Glenn coming in from Eagle River. I'm staying in the rest of the day. Emelia is napping, Autumn is watching Tangled and I'm going to cuddle up to a good book after talking with you.

I'm a bit worried about your return trip home. Not sure when this weather is supposed to make its way out of here.

Last night we had Riley over and as a surprise, Angie brought the girls some sparkling cider and told them it was champagne. I got the girls champagne glasses, cooked our dinner (Lemon rosemary roasted chicken/vegetables with rice). It was a HUGE success. Everybody ate, drank, danced and had a really good time.

The dancing part. We had country music on in the background. Figured I would get the girls ready for Georgia.

I ran 7 miles in under 60 minutes today. I'll be excited to run outside again.

So I'll close with a picture of Emelia that you have already seen, but it makes me laugh so here goes it.

Hopefully Emelia will sleep tonight. She had a horrible time of it last night.

I love you and miss you much.

Your favorite wife and airman. xoxo

2 days missing you.
