We're going on a treasure hunt
All the while we were out today at Chewacla State park, Millie sang over and over that we were going on a treasure hunt.
We've been to this park before, but this was the first time going with Sean. I think we all had a much better time (not to say we didn't have a good time the other times, but we were able to do more with Sean there) and we definitely got some good exploring in.
The "ATS" or Autumn Transport System. It is hard not to laugh about this because I've taken Autumn to this park at least 3 times and she has made the walk to the falls all by herself, but with Sean there, she demanded her "deride". I'm wondering, what is going to happen when she is 8 or 10 or 16 years old?
Speaking of being a teenager, Autumn recently informed us that:
Autumn: I don't want to grow up to be a teenager because I don't want to wear all black. Teenagers wear all black you know.
Wait, what? HA HA HA I have no idea at all where on earth that came from! She also says that teenagers are always mad. Ok, there might be some truth in that.
I always thought that Autumn looked just like Sean, but as she gets older, I totally see me and it isn't just because of what she says, how she acts or her mannerism.....
Thank you Autumn for taking my picture!

Exhibit 2.
I don't think we have an official name for this, but I was shocked how at ease Millie was near the falls. I thought that because she can hardly see, she would be too afraid to do much. At first she was a little nervous. It took some coaxing to get her out of the backpack, but once she got on the rock, she just took off like she was always meant to be exploring.
Have I mentioned how much I love these two girls?
I may need to update my cover photo with this one!
Sean took hold of Millie for getting down the rocks.
I was trusted with Autumn!
Checking out a cave.
So proud of Millie.
The winner is....
There was a lot more water than the last few times we went down there.
Somehow we switched children again....
Millie bo dillie.
This is how Millie went down to the falls and then back to the top, serenading me all the way.
Once at the top, we headed out to a grassy area to set up for our picnic.
And a game of tag.
Poor Millie, she couldn't catch anyone!
Then it was time for A little faith, trust, and pixie dust. A bunch of muscles too!
I don't think I could do that myself!
I know this is blurry, but it just cracks me up!
The girls loved it.
Millie told me she had a lot more fun this time than the last time. She also said she wanted to do some more exploring.
After lunch and playing, we headed down to the park for swinging, sliding and other playground activities.
I have this feeling that this place is crowded during the summer.
All in all, the perfect afternoon!
The Jordan's.
