Anniversary.

Image
Today was Alison and Gary's 8th Anniversary, so the girls and I took her out to dinner. We went to Guadalajara. It was delicious. All the school stuff I emailed you about. My tuition and books are all paid for. The girls have all their school supplies and clothes. Hopefully I don't need to spend anymore money. Shew!! My pics tonight are of the yard. It's been a little overwhelming all by myself. Trying to work on the edging. Pink on top, purple on bottom. The crepe myrtles on the side of the house are finally blooming. The girls and I went skating. Millie did pretty good. Autumn, had a rough time. So Sean Jordan. I did not fall. I was wondering. If you and I had been teenagers in love, would you have taken me on a date here!?!!! Your current wife and favorite airman. XOXO 116 days.

The sweat!!

After spending much of the morning outside, I spent the afternoon outside too. Dehydrated, hungry and grouchy are good identifiers for me!!! Now I'm just trying to stay awake until 9... I set an alarm clock and put it in Millie's room. Maybe I'm a tad evil too. Millie walked around like this all morning. When I showed her this picture, she laughed, made adjustments and said, Do it again!! I finally took a picture of our weird Cucumber watermelon. The last thing tonight. Lois gave me a garbage bag full of clothes Olivia had outgrown. They all fit Autumn. No need for anymore clothes shopping. I'm off to close my eyes a minute. I love you. Jail birds.

Our choir is going to HC Jail this weekend to sing for the prisoners. Our choir director, Dewayne, sent out an email about our attire and told us to think "Puritan." I was also told to wear something your grandma would wear. I don't believe that those options exist in my current wardrobe. I hatched this idea that some of us should show up to choir practice wearing jumpsuits and asks if those would be OK for the jail ministry. So Alison and I got our hands on some.... I wish you could have heard the laughing when we made our entrance! This morning I ran. OK, I walked a good half mile from 2 to 2.5. Man, I felt sluggish. I've been super sore too. After, I did some yoga and my insanity workout. Then I made: Chocolate popcorn for the girls Christmas in July party at kids choir. Autumn loved it, but Millie hated it. She still hates peanut butter. These are drizzled with Reese Peanut Butter Chips and Chocolate. She keeps asking me if I ...

I've been doing better about waking up early. I figure that if I wake up early, it will help me fall asleep at the right time. With school rapidly approaching, I do not have much time to get the girls adjusted. Thankfully, they are not too far off their normal schedule (they have been going to bed on time because I need my peace and quiet in the evenings), but the wakeups have been all over the place. 13 days until school starts for the girls. WOW!!! That is soon. So, I ran later even though I woke up early. I ate breakfast and then had to wait for that to settle. My legs were super sore from doing yoga yesterday, so it affected my time today. I'm not pushing myself yet though. Just running at a relaxing pace. Then I did insanity. I also did my Tuesday chores. The girls helped me. I made them pickup after themselves, a lot today. They didn't mind helping with the chores, but they didn't like running after each little mess. I am hoping...

Not much to say.

We went to a movie. We went to the commissary. We came home. Watched movies. Autumn did some yoga with me. Halfway in, she says, "this is too hard. I'm out." Yoga reminds me how inflexible I am. I'm going to keep it up. Planning to wake up early and run again. Not much else going on tomorrow. Probably won't leave the house. We didn't get around to the baking. I try not to run the oven after noon. I love you. Your current wife and favorite airman. XOXO 112

Jolly in July

Autumn drew this at church this morning: I thought it was sweet. A little funny too. Jolly? After having lunch at church, we came home. The girls swam. We watched movies. I took a nap. I have my alarm set for 545 am. I'm planning to run first thing. I'm ready to get back on track. I love you. Your current wife and favorite airman. XOXO 111 days.

Allergies.

This morning I went out and pressured washed the fence that I have yet to seal. I went back and forth whether to do that again or not, but I'm glad I did. There was some dirt on it that came off. Now, the next two sunny days in a row, I'm sealing that thing!! I'm getting rid of some trash around the yard (the floats that have holes in them, etc.). I plan to fix the rock bed that is just outside our bedroom window. It has a lot of weeds in it. It looks bad. It was just too hot to get to it today. Chris came over and looked at the bike rack. He says I've got it on there right. We even practiced putting a bike on it (yours). He said he thinks the part that was broken and that I fixed is no big deal, so I'm going to get rid of the box. Unless you think I should keep it?? I took the rack off for now, because I don't think we'll be using it today. It goes on so easy, I don't really see the point in keeping it on there all the time...

Some days are just stupid.

From start to finish, this was not my favorite day. This morning we headed out around 740 am for Atlanta. We stopped at KK for donuts. All I ordered was the box of doughnut holes. While I was chatting with you, the minions ate them ALL. There was not a single one left for me. How could they do that to me?!? It was a fairly uneventful ride to the mall. I decided we should go there first so that I didn't worry about someone stealing Autumn's brand new bike. I told the girls we were going to walk around and LOOK.... We were not BUYING anything today, but that we would have lunch and just window shop. We needed the walking after sitting in the car for two hours. We look around Macy's and make our way out into the mall when Autumn says she wants to go to the Disney store. OK. Here is where I clearly must have lost my mind. We go into the Disney store. Autumn tells me she wants to see if they have any Minnie mouse towels (like what Millie got for h...

Happy birthday.

Today is Alice's birthday. As it turns out, it is also Brett's (your brother, not Alice's husband). Your mom and dad took the girls to the Merriweather Cattle Co for a steak dinner with Brett. They called me because Autumn ordered steak for dinner and told the waitress she wanted bloody steak. Your mom asks me, how should we order it, I said, medium. She likes bloody steak. Wow!!! Apparently she also had shrimp. Those chicks are spoiled!!! Autumn told me Brett looked real old. Like 40. I informed her, "he's 42." I went to Carrabas for Alice's birthday. I ordered the prosciutto wrapped PTL with fig sauce. It was good. Everyone is in a great mood. Maybe we needed some space from one another. Your parents gave me: Original oratory. Autumn wanted to know if it was from 1885. Wow!!! Today we also got to visit with a friend. Autumn, Anna and Emelia. We have a big day tomorrow. I must sleep. Your current wif...

The directions were written in boy!!!

We've had such a busy day. I'm still not feeling well. Horrible headache (I assume from the heat). This morning we headed to Callaway Gardens with Alison. Once we arrived home, I noticed a package at the front door. This thing is supposed to be simple. I get the box open, 20 minutes later only to discover the directions are written in boy. All pictures, no words. What the hell. Where are the words??? It takes me 20 minutes (re: 60 minutes) to figure out the 2 inch hitch adapter is already on the unit and my 11/4 inch hitch doesn't need all that hardware. I finally get it on. I drink some wine. I'm a little concerned about this crack. It's obviously not supposed to be there. I hate to accept it like this, brand new if that crack is going to be an issue later. This is the view on the back up camera. I'm having another glass of wine and going to bed. Awaiting your answer on what to do. Your current wife and ...
