Jail birds.
Our choir is going to HC Jail this weekend to sing for the prisoners.
Our choir director, Dewayne, sent out an email about our attire and told us to think "Puritan."
I was also told to wear something your grandma would wear.
I don't believe that those options exist in my current wardrobe.
I hatched this idea that some of us should show up to choir practice wearing jumpsuits and asks if those would be OK for the jail ministry.
So Alison and I got our hands on some....
I wish you could have heard the laughing when we made our entrance!
This morning I ran.
OK, I walked a good half mile from 2 to 2.5.
Man, I felt sluggish.
I've been super sore too.
After, I did some yoga and my insanity workout.
Then I made:
Chocolate popcorn for the girls Christmas in July party at kids choir.
Autumn loved it, but Millie hated it.
She still hates peanut butter.
These are drizzled with Reese Peanut Butter Chips and Chocolate.
She keeps asking me if I will make regular chocolate popcorn.
I suppose sometime this weekend I will oblige.
Sometime this afternoon a call for help was put out on facebook regarding the choir robes.
They needed someone to unpack and hang them.
The girls and I made our way over and got it done in about an hour.
We also vacuumed the entire room.
It really needed it.
We then ran to gymnastics.
Then Chickfila.
Then back to church.
On our way home this evening, a song Autumn and I really love came on, so we were sitting in the driveway just a singing away.
Tomorrow.
Tomorrow.
I have to mow the yard.
Vacuum out the vehicles.
Sweep the porch.
Take care of the pool.
Then we have a play date with Melanie, Kristin and Lois.
I love you.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
114 days of missing you terribly.
