It's A New Year!
I realize that I am behind. It seems to be my thing lately. I find it hard to update my blog when Sean is here! I have pictures from Christmas that I would like to share and because I don't beleive Sean has seen them yet AND he isn't here, now is a good a time as any, right?
The girls set out their cookie for Santa and a homemade raspberry cheese cake cupcake!
I wonder if Santa (Sean) knows Millie put her finger in that cookie? Hmmmm. I'm not telling!
Sean and Autumn.
Sean and Millie.
In their Christmas Eve PJ's and almost ready for bed!
Santa's arrival.
Looks like a lot of stuff!
I could hardly believe the next morning I had to wait for the girls to wake up!
8 am and STILL asleep!
Miss Millie's first look.
So happy and excited. Let me tell you what. Emelia found her stocking full of Hershey kisses and could barely be distracted with much else! I swear she ate a pound of chocolate!!
Aha! You mean there is more stuff? Also in this photo, my favorite tree ornament given to me by Miss Cindy.
Finding the train set!
FINALLY! Miss Autumn makes her debut!
Millie's La La Loopsy doll.
Millie got a mailbox from Grandma and Grandpa Jordan. Autumn says to me, "Did Riley send this to me?" I told her no. Autumn says, "this is just like my friend Riley's. I wish Riley, Dylan, Cole and Taylor were here." It was so cute!
We spent the entire day in the house, fire going in the fire place, mostly relaxing, playing and preparing for our Christmas feast.
For dinner we had a Herb Mushroom encrusted standing rib roast with a mushroom wine sauce, red pepper bisque, lemony asparagus, Savory Sweet Potato and Pecan Molasses Yeast rolls! All made by yours truly!
The girls really loved all of their gifts. This market was from Grandma and Grandpa Jordan. Emelia's apron was made by my good friend, Angie! Head on over and check out her stuff! It is awesome and a shameless plug! Autumn got hello kitty stuff that she loves! The train set was a huge success! Leap pads, books, money! It truly was a wonderful day.
By evening time, the girls were playing with their Twighlight Turtle and Twighlight lady bugs. It casts stars onto the ceiling of a dark room. It has different colors and turns off after 45 minutes.
In other news....
Dear Sean, Miss Kari (Autumn's teacher) said she did wonderful on her first day back. Autumn was a little upset you weren't in the car when I picked her up, but I reminded her you wouldn't be gone very long. Miss Millie has been running around the house singing twinkle, twinkle. Oh my goodness, it would make you smile to hear it. We didn't work on potty training with Emelia today. I will work on it again some tomorrow, but we will hit it hard come Friday. I love you and miss you much!
