Pensacola Beach
I was telling Sean when he came home on Friday that I have really been missing the beach. To my suprise, he said let's go!
I guess Pensacola holds a special place in my heart. Sean and I were stationed there when we got married. We dated each other there. I think Sean met my parents down in Pensacola when they came to visit me.
Anyway, on to this weekend.
Mille wasn't sure what to think of the sand at first.
Taking the girls to get their toes wet.
Autumn is loving this!
Autumn trying to convince Emelia to get wet.
A little closer.
Closer.
Almost there Emelia!
Millie says, WAIT! I don't like this! It's too cold!
I am outta here!
Dad to the rescue!
Seriously, Emelia didn't like the water, or the sand for that matter.
One of my new favorite photos!
This picture is for my friend Mindy. We got stuck behind this car for quite some time and I just couldn't stop thinking of MRS Roboto.
Our very friendly Park Ranger.
Autumn demanded to put her swim suit on. I guess in a way, she called my bluff. I was convinced that after she put her feet in the water, she wouldn't really want to get in. WRONG!
Little foot print.
Playing in the sand.
Miss Millie.
She must have played in the water for an hour and a half. It didn't matter that she was shaking like a leaf, she did NOT want to get out. Keep in mind, it was 70 degrees outside and that water was cold!
Smiles for miles.
Is Gary Bider following me?
Bump on a log.
After promising Autumn there would be more swimming, we made our way to Ft Pickens.
Autumn made us explore every little nook and cranny.
Millie was carrying around her Barney and in one of these tunnels, she pushed a button and he began singing the "I love you, You love me, we're a happy family, etc...." A woman a few feet in front of us jumped like ten feet in the air and turned around to see Millie holding her Barney. She said to me it was the creepiest thing she could imagine.
Millie and Barney.
The girls and I.
Bending it like Bolt.
The view from our hotel this morning.
On our way on a hike at Big Lagoon State Park.
Didn't see any!
Doesn't this look peaceful?
Why does he have to push the swing so hard? It gives me heart palpatations.
They are all the same human!
What a blast! Autumn cried when she realized we were going home and not to the beach. I cannot wait to go back some time!
The Jordan's.
