Cleaning mode.
I knew last night that I would not be going to church today.
I just have a million things I need to take care of.
My Sunday School teacher is not going to be there.
I could not sing.
I mean, I can sing, but my voice is still rough from sinus infection.
I took a day to take care of things.
First up.
Max, the fish.
His home was so dirty it was ridiculous!!
Autumn loves to help with this step.
Max on the other hand, always looks so sad, and sometimes angry when waiting to be put back in his home.
Then I cleaned the kitchen, the laundry room, the living room, the dining room, our room. The bathrooms. I swept, I mopped, I vacuumed, I dusted.
Then I moved on to outside.
Christal came over and brought his pressure washer.
He showed me how to use it and then said that he was bored and he would help me.
He cleaned the mold off this section where it is always growing.
While he was showing me how to use the pressure washer, I noticed some twigs and things in the upper corner of our entryway.
Christal told me to get a ladder and he would take care of it.
I grabbed the ladder and checked it out myself.
Yep, that is a momma bird.
How much you want to bet there are some eggs in there?
I figure I will leave it for a little while, but I don't think that thing can stay.
While Christal pressure washed, I started mowing.
And weed eating.
When he was done,
He showed me a few more things with the different tips of the pressure washer.
Here is the section he did.
He also sprayed the gutter part off.
He clearly has no idea how OCD I am. Now that that section is so clean, I'll be forced to clean all the front of the house.
I asked Christal to look at the rear wheel speed sensor.
NOW, you know you should probably talk to Christal about this part, because he knows the words.
This is CHERISH typing though.
I don't know the words.
I believe what Christal said was the housing unit for the speed sensor was cracked (probably hit by a rock).
He told me to get the part and he would help me put it in.
He said if we needed to lift the Jeep, we would just go to post and do it.
I think this sounds like a great plan.
I will make it a priority later in the week.
OK, so I bid goodbye to Christal after chatting for a bit and then finished mowing the front yard.
Then I got to work on the house.
I did all the gutters and that white section from the fence on this side of the house to the fence on the other side of the house (minus the super high up spots). It is going to kill me to leave it this way, but I just cannot do it anymore today. I'm spent.
Then I grabbed a hammer and hit all the nails in on the section of the fence from the side of the house to the hill. Front and back.
Before.
After.
I put everything away for the day.
It was a dirty job.
The girls are making their cards for their teachers (this is teacher appreciation week) and I think we are going to go to dinner at Olive Garden.
I love you.
Your favorite wife and current airman. xoxo
^^I caught that after the fact... I think I will leave it for today.
27 days.
