Pool party!
This morning I had a 10 am appointment with an adivsor.
At 9 am she called me.
"Mrs. Jordan- you have 181 transfer credit hours. 63 of them are core credit hours, like English, Math and Science. Your situation is unique and needs to be handled by someone in the biology department. No one in academic advising can help you with this particular situation."
She gave me the number to the secretary to the chair of the biology department.
I called and left a message with her.
She called me back promptly and told me,
"Mrs. Jordan, I left a note on DR. Ballenger's door. She is currently in class. You should expect a call back at some point today. With all your credit hours, I went ahead and assigned DR Ballenger, the department chair as your personal advisor. You are only the second student that has ever had Dr Ballenger as their direct advisor. She is going to have to evaluate your credit hours anyway, I figured I should just go on and assign you to her."
Dr Ballenger called me shortly after that and said that she has all my transcripts and that she is going to go over them in more detail at a later date.
Next week she is administering midterms, but could squeeze me in if I really wanted to see her next week.
I asked her if her schedule was more free the following week and she said it was.
We set a date and time of June 9th at 1 pm for me to go in and get advised.
Alison was walking with me when I took that call and told me as soon as I hung up that she would be able to watch the girls for me.
Now I wait!
We were invited to Brandy's house for some swimming.
The girls.
Millie was hit in the throat with the bar at the end of the hammock a little while after this photo was taken.
It looks like it hurt really bad.
Poor girl.
Autumn saw Boyd do a flip off the diving board.
You know what happened next?
Autumn had to do it!!
Millie swimming.
Millie jumping off the diving board.
I obviously was not prepared for her to jump so high.
Redo!
After the pool was the trampoline.
Wow Autumn!
Autumn decided she would try and do the flip here too.
Millie got in the way!!
This is the best picture I could get.
What is on the menu for tomorrow?
Well, I didn't get around to cutting the grass today, so I will do that tomorrow.
I'm debating taking the girls to Busch Gardens this next week.
I just cannot make up my mind whether to do it or not.
We have nothing going on next week at all, so I'm somewhat inclined to do it.
I am going to make us chicks steaks, mashed potatoes and lima beans tomorrow.
That is all I have for you today love.
