Dunkin Donuts.
Since the time I saw a commercial for pumpkin coffee at Dunkin Donuts, I've wanted to go. Millie and Autumn woke up in such a good mood this morning, I asked them if they wanted to get some donuts.
They are YOUR children, so of course the answer was YES!
We loaded up and headed out and once we arrived at DD, that is when the good times ended. Millie has taken to throwing some really big fits. I know she is testing the boundaries, testing me, but I am SICK of it!
Our trouble started today when she wanted to use the bathroom all by herself. I do my best to accommodate the girl, but she was taking TOO long, she couldn't get on the toilet all by herself and there was a line to use the restroom.By helping (trying to speed things along), I just made the girl angry. She wasn't going to cooperate the rest of the day.
I finally got her mind off the stinking bathroom and we
Ordered our donuts. Millie refused to eat anything, but she was being quiet. About 5 minutes later, Autumn needs to use the bathroom and this starts ALL over with Millie.
I know she is cute, but she drives me NUTS.
DD ends with all three of us crying and me carrying Millie out of the restaurant with her panties around her ankles and her screaming in front of all the other customers, "I don't love you anymore." Nice.
Once we got home, her behavior did improve. She took another really long nap today. When she woke up, Autumn asked if we could go to Target to get a jump rope. I told her we could.
Again, Millie behaved horribly. We didn't end up getting a jump rope. We ended up back at the car and going home. I guess this is where we are right now. Until Millie can act like a decent human, she isn't going any where. I guess she is 2... terrible 2's..... will she live? That is the question.
I found a couple of other pictures on my phone I wanted to share.
From a trip to Sam's. While we were in Florida with Mindy and Tim, I asked him to pick up a can of green beans for the kids. I swear to you he bought the biggest freaking can ever, so I took a picture of the girls and sent it to Mindy! ha
The "God Our Father" police. Autumn tells people around us to be quiet, that she needs to pray.
I love you and miss you.
I thought we had a very productive D3 talk today. I'm so excited to go there again.
