The big old slide.
We stayed at Tim and Mindy's condo. It is called the Fountains and it was really nice. Here are some pictures of it.
On our way to the pool. The kids were so excited!
Millie bringing up the rear.
This place was pretty awesome. Do you see the slide in the background? Keep it in mind.
Autumn bottom all ready to go.
Miss Millie was a bit more cautious. That is just her style.
Luke aiming for girls.
Autumn's turn.
Trying to get those boys.
It was about this time that Autumn informed me she wanted to go down the slide. I told her we would walk over there and see if she was tall enough. You had to be 42 inches and when Autumn stood next to the yardstick, she was just over 41 inches. I wasn't sure if they were going to let her go down or not, so we walked up to the top together. The woman had her stand in front of the yard stick and then asked me if she could swim. I said she could. She said she would let Autumn go down once.
Off she goes.
She looked scared, but she did it!
Once it dumped her out in the deep end, she went underwater, came up and swam to the side. The lifeguard did help her get out of the water.
I know she wanted to go some more, but I didn't want to push it since the person on duty said only once.
Back to the pool!
The twins are excellent little swimmers (Makenna and Jake).
Millie liked the sprinklers too.
After a while, Madelyn joined the party.
Take a shower Madelyn.
You too Autumn!
Inside joke about Uncle Julie.
Sweet miss Millie sound asleep.
Now that we got tired from the pool, it was time to head back to the condo.
All the monsers.
Autumn and Luke hanging out.
The kids stayed up watching cartoons. We let everyone go to sleep when they felt like it. It was a really lovely day.
Fast forward to today, October 3rd. Took the girls to school. Walked out on the Psalmond trail. Did an insanity workout. Getting ready to shower so we can head to church. I booked us a trip to Legoland discovery center for two weeks from now. Getting back into the swing of things.
I love you and miss you much.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 103 days of wishing you home.
