Stop! Puzzleate and listen....
Before I get to today's photos, I have the last few photos from our mini vacation to Florida. The last morning we were there, Jake woke up looking a little rough. Mindy and I were sitting on the couch having some coffee when all of a sudden, VOMIT! Holy cow! I grabbed the garbage can and a wash rag. Mindy took Jake to the bath tub. I thought, oh, this is it. We are out of here.
After the vomit session, Jake looked a lot better. Mindy and I discussed it and she decided we could still go to the pool (secretly, I wanted to leave!!!! Vomit freaks me out).
We ALL really enjoyed this place!
Luke over at the kid section.
The girllas.
Luke picking on Jake.
Sweet Millie.
Sweet Autumn.
Autumn "ferlaxing." You know, floating and relaxing... ferlaxing!
Autumn is cracking up over something!
It cracks me up how chill Millie is in the deep end of the pool.
Autumn jumping in, but do you see Millie's face? The girls wouldn't get in that hot tub, they said it was too hot.
Autumn underwater.
My burrito girl.
After swimming, we headed up to the condo. By the time we got there, Autumn was crying, Millie was crying, MaKenna was crying, Luke was fussing and Jake was puking. Now I'm really worried. One time = a fluke. Two times = someone is sick.
I pack as quickly as I can and get the heck out of there!!!! As I was loading up the car, I realized I didn't have Millie's princess wand. I send Mindy a message to let her know. She looked for it, but didn't find it. Super big bummer since Millie is crying for it. Oh well.
I did try to find a new one. No luck.
We got on the road at 1130 am and made it home at 6 pm. We stopped ONE time for the bathroom, food and gas. While getting food, I let the girls play (we stopped at a Chickfila) and sent Mindy another message asking about Jake. I guess he slept most of the day and by evening time, finally held down some Jello. So far, no one else has gotten sick. I don't know what was wrong with the little guy, but I'm glad he is better and that no one else got it!
Fast forward to today, October 4th.
I dropped Autumn off to school. Today was the letter "M", so she brought Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse for show and tell.
Next up, I dropped Millie off. It was Mrs Sandi's birthday today. I asked Millie, "do you know what today is?" She replied, "Wednesday." That made me laugh so hard. It also blew my mind! Millie knows Wednesday is a day of the week!! WOW!
I put my running face on and hit the trail. I did 8 miles total, but ran 7.5 in 78 minutes. Whew! Next up, Walmart.
I wanted to buy Cinderella for the girls. I won't lie, I want to open it up and watch it RIGHT now. Wonder if it will be in the dollar box? I also wanted to buy
A blender thing. I want to start consuming one smoothie a day. I would also like to experiment... try different things in it (like spinach).
After Walmart, I picked the girls up and then came home to weigh myself.
WOO HOO! Almost there.
Fed the people, fed myself, put Millie down for her nap and then had to
Mow the grass!!
You cannot even tell can you? We have lots of ants. I mean lots and lots of ants!!
Next up, puzzle time!
Millie is doing such good job.
Why do we have such obnoxious girls!!!
After puzzle time, we had
ghost time.
Artwork for today:
Millie's elephant.
Millie was working on the letter "d" this week.
I asked Autumn if this was a turkey, but she said it was a tree.
I will dominate you.
Autumn was reading to Millie.
One last thing. When I got out of the shower today, I overheard a conversation between Autumn and Millie.
Autumn: "Millie, will you put my shoes in the shoe box?"
Mille: "Sure."
Autumn: "Say yes mam."
The count: 104 days of wishing we were here and you too!
