Great day, Ferris Wheel.
There are so many pictures, so there won't be much writing.
Sorry I missed your call. I accidentally left my phone in the Beep Beep.
At the end of the day today, I asked Millie about her day and her response was, "Great day! Ferris Wheel!!!"
When I asked Autumn what was her favorite, she said, "Ferris wheel."
We had so much fun Sean Jordan that it was ridiculous!!!!!!!
Ready for it?
Pre-fair jitters.
From both humans!
The obligatory what they look like in case someone gets lost photo.
Angry bird scarecrow. Autumn had to see it!
Petting Charlie, the bunny.
Sean, Millie LOVED fair food. I have never ever seen her eat so much food in my whole life!
Aww! Holding a chick.
Millie and grandpa holding a chick.
Showing off her writing skills.
Awww! It was like you were right there.
The Ferris wheel. A weird thing happened when your dad bought tickets. It cost 25 tickets for all of us to ride. He went to the booth but the prices were for 22 tickets. He got 3 extra tickets that looked different. When we "paid" at the Ferris wheel, the man handed us back the 3 extra tickets and said those were for wrist bands. We had no idea. We went on the Ferris wheel and then went back to a booth to ask about this wrist band thing. They told us to go and get three wrist bands with those tickets and we could ride whatever we wanted. So Autumn, Millie and I got wrist bands and oh my goodness let the fun begin! (Those wrist bands were $16 a piece and the tickets, if you were using them, were approx $1 a ticket. Most rides were 3, 4 or 5 tickets a person! We really made out on this little accident!).
The view from the top.
She absolutely loved it. I am pretty sure she will remember it the rest of her life.
I know it doesn't look it here, but Millie really loved it too.
Dumbo ride.
Say hello to your mom and dad.
Oh my gosh. I was thinking, please don't break my jogger, I really need it.
On a train.
On a kid version of the flying dutchman. Of course Autumn has her hands up.
Yes sir, Millie too!
This was one of those fun houses, that had a maze type thing in it. Autumn did this thing like 10 times. Millie and I did it 5 times!
Autumn rocking the bumper cars.
Foot massage time.
The scrambler!!!!
Finally found the petting zoo!
Millie was scared, but she did it too!
Sean, meet Melman!!! Toss up between Melman, the baby zebra and the llama between what animal was Autumn's favorite. We spent A LOT of time (and Grandpa's money) with Melman!!
Poor Millie, she was kind of (OK REALLY) afraid!
Melman's tongue!!!!!!!!!
I think Melman really liked Autumn. Even though there were others with carrots (and probably easier to reach), he stuck with us for quite some time.
A pirate ship play yard. What the what?!!?
Autumn told people she was the "pirate queen."
We are home now and the girls are in bed. I'm tired, but honestly, it was a great day. I cannot wait to go back with you next year.
I love you.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 108 days of fairing without you.
