I told Autumn just a little bit about Grandma Betty.

I told her that she has cancer.

She is very old.

She is currently in the hospital.

That Grandma Phyllis is really sad about it so we need to pray for her.

Autumn said, OK.

Several minutes later.

Autumn: Grandma Betty has cancer?

Me: Yes.

Autumn: Is she going to die?

Me: Yes.

Autumn: I love Grandma Betty and I do not want her to die.

Me: The most we can do right now Autumn is to pray for Grandma Phyllis and Grandma Betty. She will go home to heaven and everything will be OK.

Autumn: OK mom. I will pray for Grandma Betty and Grandma Phyllis.

Your mom is leaving tomorrow to go back up there.

I'm not sure how long she will stay.

I had a feeling that this would be the case.

I'm feeling confident she will stay there until it happens.

We dropped Max the Fish off to Alison.

We are packed up for our trip tomorrow.

We will leave in the morning after we load up the car.

I'm so tired.

I'm off to bed.

I love you.

Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
