Adventure island.

I couldn't sleep last night.

Millie had no problem sleeping.

When Johnna was with us, Millie told her, "I miss my dad. He's in Afghanistan. He had to take a job there for awhile."

Where does she come up with this stuff!?

I was so worried about the weather.
They were calling for some pretty severe lightening storms around these times:

10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm...

I was thinking we should hang at the hotel and just go Wednesday.

Wednesday was calling for rain though.

We got up, had breakfast (which was terrible.. Well the coffee was).

Someone should explain to your daughter that you cannot get "free" breakfast and then expect USDA organic Grade A pure maple syrup.

"This syrup is disgusting. I cannot even eat it. Mom? What is this crap? It doesn't taste anything like what we have at home.?"

Welcome to the world of Aunt Jemima Autumn!!

After, we went back to our room, then sunscreened ourselves from head to toe.

I wasn't taking any chances.

Nothing changed in the forecast, but I decided that Wednesday could be worse.

The sky was cloudy, but it didn't look stormy.

Off we went.

We opened the park up. We closed it down.

Not sure if it was weather related or time of year, but there was probably not more than 100 people in the park.

It rained off and on, but it never did lightening or thunder. My praying worked!! Woo hoo!!

I was so impressed with Millie and Autumn.

Autumn jumped from the cliff. Millie almost did.

Millie did do some slides near the cliff that were pretty high up and dumped her pretty deep.

She looked all "I scare me" the first few attempts of every ride we did, but she was brave and did just about everything.

Her swimming skills have improved astronomically.

We are back at our hotel.

We ate leftover Greek food for dinner.

We swam in the hotel pool.

I'm running laundry now.

The girls are laying in bed.

They probably said about a hundred times how much they miss you.

I could feel it too. There was a sense of sadness to it all.

They both also said it was the best day ever.

I love you.

Your current wife and favorite airman. XOXO

57 days.
