Eagle River is a beautiful place to live.
I've been feeling really rough due to the chemo pills.
I stayed in bed until 10 am this morning and then only got up to have some coffee and throw some fake cinnamon rolls in the oven (which I promptly burned)....
Sean was planning to take Millie ice skating on Reflections Lake so I was thinking I wanted to go and walk and explore that area.
When Sean when to get Millie, Millie was not in a very good mood, so Sean said he wasn't going.
Change of plans for me.
I ran some errands out in town and while I was gone, Sean and Millie went to Reflections Lake (darn!).
When I arrived home, I put away my groceries, did some housework and divvied out some work to the girls.
I needed to do about a 4 mile walk (I walk 6 miles every day!).
I put on my yak trax and headed out the front door with Sean and Dingo.
We didn't get very far when Sean slipped and fell on some black ice.
I felt horrible standing there watching it happen and unable to help.
It was crazy how Sean just didn't even fight the fall, he just "rolled" with it.
I would have flailed my arms and probably end up breaking something else.
Anyway, after laying on the cold concrete for a few minutes, Sean got up and off we went.
We walked down to the girls school and checked out the ice rink and then continued down to Eagle River.
It was a little bit cold, but I was so glad we got outside.
The sun was setting (at 3 something) and it was beautiful outside along the river.
