It's Still broken

I went to ortho today about my broke clavicle.

Guess what?

It's still broken.

Ortho finally says they are going to order my a bone stimulator and the home is that it will heal more quickly with that.

I also needed labs and a port flush.

My doctor is moving me up to the full dose of the chemo pills, but true to Cherish form, I said I wouldn't start that until AFTER thanksgiving.

I just wanted to enjoy the holiday meal with my family.

Trail River Campground

Sean and I spotted Trail River Campground back in April on a trip down to Seward. I was excited to go back when the lake was not frozen. We reserved a tent site online and based on the online system, it looked like the campground was really full. When we arrived, there were lots of reserved signs, but on closer inspection, some of the reserved signs were for dates that had passed or in the future. There were many spots available. Anyway, we met the campground host and he informed us that he and his wife were bleaching ALL the bathrooms every day. These were the cleanest campground bathrooms I have ever seen. The cost for tent sites is $18 per day. There is a two week limit. Dogs are allowed and I found this to be a very dog friendly place. If I had to complain about anything it would be that it was kind of noisy. I wasn't sure at first if it was the river or if it was car traffic noise I was hearing. We are still in Seattle for Day 7!

Since we left Anchorage, Sean noticed there was a small oil leak coming from the Jeep. We decided that since we were in the United States now, we should get it checked out. Now, I cannot really remember what was wrong with the Jeep and why it was leaking, but what I DO remember is that the part wouldn't be in until later today, so we decided that instead of going down to Portland, Oregon as planned, we hang around in Washington for one more day. We learned about a park there called Forest Park. If you live in this area and have kids, you HAVE to go and visit this park! They had a big open field for picnics, kite flying or bubbles! There is a playground, sprinklers, a petting zoo and it was all FREE. I didn't realize there would be sprinklers, so I didn't pack the girls bathing suits for that day. SHAME on me! My Dad is the coolest.

We had a pretty good day today. Autumn is still a little bit cranky which makes me wonder if something else is going on. I'll just say she is teething like I always do. Maybe, one day she will have teeth, or even a tooth. We had a super lame dinner. I am waiting until you get home to do some grocery shopping. Speaking of the kitchen, why does Autumn always feel the need to tear it apart? I swear, when I walked in there today, I thought you were home already. I found the culprit though: The Destructionator. Maybe I should show Autumn the long arm of the law: Which brings me to my next point. When you have wimpy arms like that and a husband who is always gone, you have to find some one/thing to open jars for you. SO glad we have this: My uber strong second husband.
