KEVIN!!!!!!
When we were in Georgia (Hell), still living in the apartment, we caught wind of an Eagle River man that was stomped by a moose.
Our curiosity was really peaked when we realized not only was it in Eagle River, it was in the neighborhood we intended to live in.
You can read about the stomping here.
In short, the man was walking with his dog at the end of our street (where we bought our house) and the man's dog came between a moose and her calf.
The dog retreated back to his owner with a moose in tow and the man was severely injured (although he lived).
We spent the ENTIRE summer looking for any signs of moose or bear in our neighborhood.
We found nothing!
Two days ago, people started posting in our neighborhood's Facebook page that there was a bull moose hanging around.
We went several times in search of this moose to no avail.
Saturday, after our Beach Lake excursion I noticed that the moose was last seen ON OUR STREET!
That's enough, we are finding this moose!
We got in the car and off we went.
Kevin, the moose, was not very far from our house.
So, I know these are not great photos, but it's as good as it gets for now!
Maybe I will get better pictures later.
