A little under the weather.
Autumn and I are both feeling a little under the weather today. Autumn woke up with that "croupy" cough she gets on occasion, so I made an appointment for her with the doctor. I went on and gave her a puff of the inhaler and she didn't cough the rest of the day. SO of course by the time we get to the doctor, she has no cough, O2 was at 100 percent and the doc is basically looking at me like why did you bring her here.... Not a happy time. This is the same doctor who made a nasty comment at me when I discussed with her that I would like to wean Autumn at one year old. Do you remember that?? I tried to not let it bother me that she was so condescending, but who was she to belittle my concerns. I don't understand why every time Autumn gets a little sick, she gets that croupy cough. I do not understand why when she is running around and playing she starts having coughing fits. I think it is possible something else may be going on (especially with my family's long line of asthma problems). All I wanted was for the doctor to reassure me that Autumn's lungs are strong and healthy and what things I needed to be concerned about, look for and/or make an appointment for. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
Anyway, Autumn doesn't have a fever, her congestion is really just about gone. Now I am the one with a cold. Hopefully I'll get over it quickly and we can get on with our normally very healthy lives!
Hope you don't mind the vent. Needed to get that off my chest.
I guess that even though we aren't feeling that great, there really isn't any reason we cannot have a little fun.
This photo is from yesterday.
Today our evening fun activity was play doh! Autumn LOVES play doh!
I guess she decided the play doh was lumps of sugar since she put them in her tea cups. Please note the spaghetti sauce all over her face!!
Got to blow on your sugar, I mean tea before you can:
Drink it!
Autumn said here daddy and held one out for you.
Overall, we had a roaring good time!
I love you and miss you.
73 days of loneliness.
