Our Daddy Project.

Before I discuss the title of this post, I'd like to share a picture of Sean's accommodations in Afghanistan.

Sean's Room
I mean, it almost looks like a prison cell, except it looks like anyone could walk through one of the "walls". I love that you have the Autumn and Daddy book right out front like that!

Autumn and I went to Walmart today (the good one in E.R.). I needed to pick up some photos that I printed, one for the project we are working on, the others for Autumn's 2nd Birthday banner. Last year, we made a banner with 20 pictures, this year I cannot seem to narrow down any further than 32 pictures. We have taken a LOT of good photos of Autumn. I am hoping that now I have them in my hands, I can further narrow them down to 20. We shall see.

While at Walmart, Autumn:

Autumn being bad
Started to climb through that stuff. At first she was just sitting in one of those car seats, but shortly after:

Really bad
Off she went. I told her not to make another move and that is the way she looked at me. She is driving me crazy. She is hiding behind/under things she knows I cannot reach her. Today at nap time, she went under our bed. I'm sorry, but I'm not dragging my 6 month pregnant belly under the bed. I just walked out of the room and a few minutes later, I heard her get back in her bed.

So, to our project. This is nowhere near complete and I'm almost sorry to spoil it for you, but I couldn't resist sharing these photos with you.

Daddy project
I was checking the fit in the frame and Autumn caught sight of you. She pulled you closer.

Daddy
Then began pointing at you, "daddy". Next thing I know,

Talking your ear off
She is talking your ear off. I have absolutely no idea what she was saying to you, but she had a lot to say. My best guess is she was talking about me (just judging by the look on her face!).

We are having a much better day today. I'm getting ready to make that other steak for dinner tonight and hopefully not start any fires this time! Autumn is having home made mac n' cheese. After dinner, I'll give Autumn a bath, then we will snuggle and hopefully she goes to bed peacefully. We are going on a hike tomorrow. I almost did it today, but I have to tell you, I was POURING sweat from spin class today and just figured I should hold off on the hike until tomorrow. The temperature is supposed to get up to 31, so we need to go and take advantage of it.

On another note, Cindy and Travis might be moving into a house on Tuesday (very exciting considering they were looking at a pretty long wait list). Angie had her big Ultrasound today (of course she won't know the sex of the baby for a few more days), hopefully the baby cooperated!! Jerde is stationed in Iraq and his wife had a baby. Lots of things to celebrate!

I love you and miss you dearly.

Your favorite wife and airman. xoxo
