Brody's Pool Party

Photobucket
Autumn was super excited about this. I think it helps that not only did they get to talk to you, but they got to see Grandma just before this. The girls were extremely hyper today. I mean more than usual. I think, we are finally getting over whatever horrible virus someone gave us.

In any event, there was a pool AND a big old water slide.

She had so much fun on there. I'd say she spent just as much time in the pool as she did on the slide.

Photobucket
She is such a beautiful girl.

It took Millie some time to warm up to the idea of the pool. After a while, I asked Brody's mom if she had a float. I would have brought ours, but I didn't want to assume there was a pool. She did have a float and that is when Millie finally took off! On a side note, the other little girl on the step is in Millie's class and Millie knows her name. Millie told me the girls name in front of her dad and he was astounded that Millie knew that.

Of course allowing Millie to do her Millie thing got me lots of dirty looks from the other mom's, but hey! That is the story of my life and quite frankly my dear, I just do not give a damn!

Now for some Autumn pictures!

Jump!

I have my floatie on!

The only picture I got of the birthday boy and his mom stepped right in the way! Brody turned 4 today.

Autumn picked a chocolate cupcake.

Millie picked a white one!

I'm telling you, this girl was meant to be in the water! She loves it!

We had to stop by Walmart on the way home. I needed milk and I wanted to go by the beer section. I saw the Samuel Adam's Octoberfest and while it makes me sad that you cannot have one, I'm super happy I could indulge in one!

Photobucket
I might even grab another one!

I love you and I miss you so very much. Not a day goes by without me wondering and thinking about you and just wishing you were here. Autumn is starting to tell people that she doesn't even know that she misses you and that you've been gone at work a LONG time. I'll be glad when the count gets into the triple digits because that means we are that much closer to having you home with us.

Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo

The count: 85 days of wishing for you.
