Strange Day.

I don't want to get into ALL the details about why today was strange. You know the big thing that happened to us today already. Thank you for calling me back though and letting me know everything was alright.

Millie got a hold of my cell phone tonight and placed a call. I didn't realize it until I heard a man's voice saying hello. It freaked me out a bit, but I got my phone and realized it was Brett. I asked him if he called me (uhm why I asked that, I have no idea!), but he said that Millie had called him. When I took the phone from Millie, she flipped out and was saying, "My daddy! My daddy!" Oh that was so terribly sad. Even more strange? Brett actually answered his phone.

We've been having the most magnificent sunrises the last few days.

I caught Autumn outside in the backyard shooing away Pirate and Radar. How sad! Then tonight she asked me if they could be our kittens now? I told her she would have to speak to you about it, but for now, we would at least make sure they were fed.

What a sweet girl.

Today was the letter C for show and tell so Autumn had the following:

The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Her butterfly photo (Caterpillar and cocoon.... she said she wanted to tell about that since we just talked about it at the Butterfly house).

Photobucket
A castle.

A coin purse.

Miss Kari said she had a great day today.

I ended up taking Millie to school and while they were at school, I went to TFM and picked up the on sale wine. I came home and chilled out for a bit and then picked them both up from school. We ate lunch at Chickfila and then came home for naps and more chill out time. Your mom stopped by after nap time and then we did dinner. Pancakes, fresh strawberries and movies (Finding Nemo and A Christmas Carol).

The girls wanted you to see their artwork.

Autumn is getting really good at counting things now. She still has problems after the number 14, but she is starting to get addition and subtraction. I'm not sure if this is on target, behind or ahead of the "norm" for her age group.

Primary colors.

The thing that cracked me up about what she picked from a magazine for her collage was the Cookbook! That is definitely our child!!!

Initially this picture made me sad. That is Autumn on the top, I'm on the right hand side and Millie on the left (as evident by our E and C). I thought to myself, how sad that she didn't put her dad in this picture. Then I flipped it over, not sure why and I saw this:

Just you and apparently you get your own house or is that a fridge? I have jokes!!!

There you have it mister. Tomorrow is the A/C repairman day and I expect to be at home for the most of the day. No idea when they are coming, but I suspect it will be after 9 am. Maybe we can all sleep in? A girl can dream! They told me it would be at least a six hour job. So, we plan to stay in tomorrow. Maybe do some stuff in the backyard.

I love you and miss you so very much. I mean that. You mean so much to me. I don't know what on this earth I would do without you.

Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
