Rainbow.

Things didn't work out the way I expected or planned them to this weekend. Sarah Marie told me a week or two ago that Kaitlyn's birthday party would be today. I told her we wouldn't be able to make it because we were expecting Grandma Betty and Aunt Carolyn to come and visit us. Grandma Betty and Aunt Carolyn decided not to come down because a bunch of us were sick. Aunt Carolyn needs to have eye surgery next week and didn't want to risk getting sick. I just cannot blame her for that.

SO, now that we didn't have company in town, I decided we would surprise Kaitlyn for her birthday and share our wealth of germs.

It rained the last bit of the drive and for some reason, the traffic was horrible once I hit I-95.

Devonne kept me company on the way over. She sent me this totally random picture of herself and told me that she looked pregnant. Sure Devonne.

Cole started school yesterday. Hard to believe he is a kindergartner now!

I find it odd that the last time I saw my mom, there was a rainbow. Now, as we were driving in to her house, we saw another one. This was actually a double rainbow, but I was having a hard time getting the shot. I got some more pictures with my other camera, but I don't feel like going through the hassle of hooking that camera up to this computer!

My last photo is a picture Jenny took for me. I've been harassing her about the termination dust because I know that it must be coming soon. So she took this picture:

When I saw this picture, it makes me miss Alaska so much. Are you sure this is out of the running for retirement? I am not sure that I am ready to call it quits on living there. I'm serious. Not joking.

The count: 77 days of missing Alaska.
