She's got style
She's got grace. It reminds me of this one time in boot camp...
I made banana bread this morning, but I ran into a small problem.
These two pans are stuck together, forever, I'm pretty sure!
I used our other loaf pan and made some muffins too. I thought this bread was really tasty. It was from skinny taste. So far, I haven't had a thing from that site I didn't like.
For dinner we had Tex Mex Shredded Chicken in the crock pot.
The cast of spice characters.
Onion and garlic.
Chicken breast patted dry and then sprinkled with salt and pepper.
Next up, coarsely chop a jalapeno, and squeeze one lime over the top of the chicken. Word to the wise, wear protective eye wear. Oh my gosh, a piece of jalapeno went flying and some juice squirted me in the eye. It hurt SO bad!!!
Next, goes in some cilantro and the onion garlic mixture. Put the lid on and forget about it!
Several hours later I came back and shredded the chicken. After tasting it, I was worried it would be too spicy for the girls, so I didn't put any of the juices from the crock pot on their portion of the chicken.
Success!
Pretty sure Autumn ate more chicken then I did.
Crooked eye liked it too.
I ran 5 miles today and did 60 push ups. Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow, but this weather had been really nice. Another day of the a/c off and the windows open. That is until 6 pm tonight when it hit 80 degrees inside. I went around and shut all the windows and have the A/C on now. I bet it will only run for an hour or two because it has been getting quite cool over night. I have a feeling there is NO way we are getting back in the pool. I think I may start letting some of the water out. We shall see.
The girls are in the bath, but let me tell you when I went in there to run the bath, someone, by someone I clearly mean Millie because in a hundred years, Autumn would never ever do what Millie did in the bathtub! There was pee!!!!!!! I said, "Who did this?" Millie proclaims, "I did! he he he" Seriously? I live with animals. ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is Johnny Appleseed day and I'm going to send Autumn to school with a camping pot! Hope you don't mind!
I love you.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 95 days of discovering the joys of pigtails (she asked for them by the way)!
