Home, sweet home.
Millie had no accidents in the car on the way to or the way home from my mom's house. I was very pleased with the girl. Twice it took me longer than 30 minutes to find a toilet and that second time, I thought for sure the girl had gone, but she didn't. Seriously, very proud of a Miss Millie.
I was pretty sure this drive was going to be mostly stormy, but it wasn't bad. Between you, my mom and my sisters, I was pretty well entertained most of the day.
Georgia was on my mind....
When we came home, the first thing I observed... the grass needed to be cut. So after I unpacked the car and the suitcases, I went and took care of the front yard. I'm too tired to do the backyard tonight.
While I was cutting the grass, I suppose Millie took it upon herself to treat herself. I walked inside to check on the girls and Millie had taken ALL the pixy sticks that came in her goodie bag from Katie's birthday party and dumped them in a bowl (there was like 20 of them). Once they were all in the bowl, Millie began eating it by the spoonful. WOW!!!!!!!!!
Autumn was up to her own bag of tricks.
Lifesaver worms mainly.
The second thing I observed, the weather felt wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We found an item or two that Autumn requires for Halloween.
This is us shopping for it.
Cat tights to wear under her witches uniform and today, we found a cinnamon broom at Publix for $4 (Autumn paid for $1 of it because she wanted to).
Now for the rest of the pictures from the pool party.
Can I just say that I am NOT ready for this stage of a girls life??
A good shot of Autumn.
Mid air.
One of the only pictures I can find of Autumn without the life vest and in water over her head. Not sure what happened there. I thought I got several pictures of her in the water, I guess none of them were very remarkable though. She jumped in near the slope, the water was definitely over her head.
Here she is swimming to the side in the deep end.
Scooting along.
There you have it. We are home. The girls are bathed. I'm going to shower myself in a moment. I love you and miss you so much.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
