It is Veteran's Day.
This is how the littlest Jordan gets in the car. Don't even bother trying to get the door for her! She can do it herself!
I really like to wear oddball socks. The more unconventional they are, the better for me.
I think part of the intrigue for me is that you can be wearing just about anything under your clothes and only you know!
Like these socks for instance! One of my favorites! So, Sean Jordan, just another item I would like to add to my birthday/Christmas wish list... socks!
Before we headed out for church this morning, I snapped off a few photos of the girls.
Silly Millie.
We ended up leaving her real glasses in the car because she was going back and forth between glasses and I did not want her doing that with them at church.
The girls wore those glasses inside and all the way to their classrooms.
During service today, they did that thing where if you were a Veteran, stand up and people came and shook your hand. It was sort of funny to see and hear the responses from people when they saw me stand up. A lot of people were surprised. I guess it is sort of like the silly socks. It is one of those things that I wear on the inside of me and don't put it on display very often. It was nice to be recognized though. I know you aren't one for recognition, but it is nice to just get an acknowledgement. Sometimes it is like it never happened, but it did and because it did, I am the wife I am now and a mother.
After church was over, Autumn requested to eat at Olive Garden.
The girls both ate spaghetti and salad. Sorry for the bad pictures, cell phone!!
They both did such an excellent job that they earned some
Ice cream! Now why they both ate it like animals, I will never know!
So, we had a nice time at church, a nice time at Olive Garden. Autumn is drawing right now, Millie is napping. Millie is coming down with whatever it is that I have. I am getting ready to lay down. Autumn has AWANA tonight and it is unlikely I will get back on here after church.
I hope that you have had a nice veteran's day. I love you and miss you.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 118 and 9 days of missing you.
