Autumn's first soccer game.
I'll admit, I was a little nervous about Autumn's first soccer game. For one, she fell asleep last night at 6 pm and slept through to 730 this morning. I was worried she was getting sick, but she must have just been tired. She woke up in a very good mood. We got ready for soccer and headed out.
Her uniform is ginormous on her. It is the smallest size they had.
I thought every thing was going to go great! Autumn slept well, she woke up happy, she had breakfast, her cousins, Aunt/Uncle and Grandma were all there.
She lined up with her mates and when they called "LIONS" ran through the little banner thing.
Then the crying began. I want to go home. Crosses arms. "You go home Mommy!" For the life of me I could not figure out what her problem was. I finally convince her to get out there and play
Crossing my fingers...
Here we go, she is doing great. She lamely kicked the ball and everyone started running and I thought we are golden! She is going to do it!
Then she turned around. Yep, she was crying. Coach Keith tried holding her hand and running with her for a bit, but after a few minutes, he sent her out. Coach was really great with Autumn because I waas feeling pretty fed up with her and she is my child, Coach did not seem bothered at all!
I believe this look covers our first soccer game experience.
Her team lost the score was 2-1. Once we got home, Autumn finally told me what her problem was. She was upset that the grass was wet and she said her shoes were going to get dirty. I was like are you SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We ended up going out to lunch with your mom and the Brett's, then I headed over to the TFM, they were having a sale today on a certain item that I won't mention since you say I've talked about it too much.
We headed home where I conducted nap time operations and my Insanity workout. After Millie woke up from nap, we headed to the park.
Swinging.
Autumn's favorite, hopscotch.
Millie's turn. Millie was like, what is the big deal? This doesn't look so hard.
I just walk right on over and
Pick up my rock right? Seriously, that girl cracks me up!
After about an hour, Autumn had a total meltdown because I made her come with me to take Millie to the bathroom. We ended up leaving directly after that.
Millie smiles.
I am not sure why, but I think Millie feels like it is her mission to:
Freak out every mother on the playground, to include this one.
23 days of being bad without you.
