Candle Lit Dinner.
I have had such a busy day today. Monday's usually are. I did all my housework (including the stuff I usually do on Tuesday's), I did my workout and this evening I cleaned the back porch. That was a lot of work. I'm hoping that it isn't a problem that I put bleach on the porch and scrubbed it. I don't know if it looks any better yet, because it is still drying. I can say this much, I sucked up about a million spiders off that back porch. One was so huge that I ended up spraying it with the water hose (so it probably didn't die), but I was too scared to try to get it with the shop vac!
Sometime this morning I conducted Autumn's interview for her Star Student of the week project.
In case you cannot see/read it. I'm going to type it out for you.
1. My name is Autumn and I am 4 years old.
2. My favorite color is: purple. My favorite food is: Spaghetti (I am willing to bet you also knew these answers!).
3. My favorite animal is: a giraffe (I was surprised by that answer).
4. Mickey House's House is my favorite place (hint hint hint).
5. My favorite thing to do is: ride my bike.
6. When I grow up I want to be a: Fire fighter.
7. My mommy's name is: Cherish.
8. My daddy's name is: Sean.
9. I have 1 sibling and her name is: Millie.
10. My pets names are: Pene and Prince.
11. If I had to Wish upon a star, I would wish for: MY DADDY TO COME HOME.
If that isn't the sweetest girl!
Autumn and I checked the mail today and a box came for the girls.
Grandma Coleman bought the girls easter dresses. Autumn has school pictures coming up this week and I do believe she will be wearing this!
Millie on the other hand wouldn't try her dress on because she was just too busy wearing her apron that Angie bought for her! Just an apron....
So I finally got her into another outfit, but this isn't her easter dress. Just a dress Jennifer gave me. These are perfect for potty training and because it has been unbearably hot, great for Millie to walk around in.
I worked up quite an apetite cleaning that back porch off. I moved the furniture out to the deck so that it could dry. It was covered in pollen. I'll move it back to the porch tomorrow.
I decided on a whim that we would have a candle lit dinner out there. We used a citronella candle and let me tell you, the bugs are really bad!
For dinner we had corned beef and cabbage. Autumn demanded cresent rolls. Both the girls loved the meat, but only Autumn would eat the cabbage. I purposefully put this meal in rotation while you were out because I know you don't like it as much.
Millie is giving Autumn that look because Autumn swiped Millie's cresent roll. Autumn actually tried to take Millie's whole plate! I had to switch the plates around! Millie's facial expression cracks me up!
Who knew something so simple could make everyone so happy? You know while we were out there, I saw the bats! I guess they are back at work!
Sweet girl.
Hi! Remember me?
Sweet girl number two!
They were playing peek a boo behind there.
Missing you!
