New kicks.
If I thought yesterday was hot, it didn't have anything on today.
93 degrees. I wonder what sort of temperatures you are having.
Millie has about outgrown her tennis shoes and we didn't seem to have any size 6 sandals around, so I headed out to Kohl's to find new shoes. Once I realized how hot it was going to be, I realized it is dumb to buy Millie sneakers. She gets hot feet, so why not just skip the sneakers for now and go straight to the sandals.
Autumn found these shoes and Millie liked them! The butterfly strap that goes over the top of the foot lights up when she walks! I think these shoes will work great!
These sorts of temperatures make it so that I do not want to cook, so we picked up some to go from Olive Garden. Autumn ate half my salad and then we all shared some fettuccine alfredo. It wasn't as good as home made, but it was nice to not heat the house up with cooking. I haven't turned the A/C on yet and thankfully the warmest temperature inside the house has been only 73 degrees. Well, that isn't too bad, although it really feels much warmer than that to me.
I'm too busy to look at you!
She says, "hi dad."
I've been working on my fitness still! I'm down another few pounds. I hope it will be noticeable when you get home.
Finally, I have two things to discuss with you.
1. At Autumn's school there was a "leprochaun." Autumn was telling me when I picked her up there were boogers on the floor and I wasn't following so I questioned her further. Who put boogers on the floor? It wasn't you was it? Autumn: "No mommy. The Leprochaun put boogers on the floor." Then she said, "There was a leprochaun, but it wasn't a leprochaun, the leprochaun was Miss Keri." Well, OK! Later on yesterday, like at bed time, Autumn told me she was afraid to go to bed. I asked her why and she told me because of the sneaky leprochaun. Then apparently she said, "The Leprochaun knocked over the couch, the chairs, the bookshelf. It dumped out the garbage and left foot prints and it was really naughty and it scares me." Uhm THANK YOU MISS KERI!!!!!!!!!!
2. Autumn is the star student next week. I have to interview her and ask questions like "what do you want to be when you grow up?" She gets to bring in her 3 favorite toys and the class will learn all about her next week. I think Autumn will love it!
She is a star in my book!
I love you and miss you!
