Our Little Princess.
Tomorrow is picture day at Autumn's school. I picked the Princess background because I knew that the dress my mom sent would look really pretty with that. The only problem was that Autumn needed new dress shoes, so that is what we headed out to accomplish today.
We ended up with these shoes that I found at Payless after I gave up on target. I can never find Autumn shoes in there! I'll be sure to take a picture of Autumn tomorrow before she goes to school so you can see what she looks like.
Autumn wanted to show you her puzzle. I wanted to tell you that Miss Keri told me that she cried when she read Autumn's interview. I think even her teachers will be glad when you get home!
In other news, I had to mow the grass today. Man, that is brutal. I just do not know what the answer is with our yard. I don't want to buy a "real" mower, but this method is so much work. When you get home, we have a lot of work to do in the yard. We have a lot of beds that need work and we really could use that tree in the side yard. I'd really love to get our herb garden going and I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to plant some flowers!
I don't know how, but I completely forgot to tell you what Millie did to me last night. I told her it was time for bed and she led the way to her room. I followed behind and when we both reached her door, she turned around, pointed and said very sternly, "away!" Next, she closed the door and went to bed. To say I was dumbfounded is an understatement. I was to some degree a little offended too! It made me feel unneeded by her. I wanted to tuck her in, kiss her and tell her goodnight. I guess she is finally getting some independence.
Last night was yet another night of not so very good sleep. Autumn came and got me at 3 am because she had an accident. I had to get everything pulled off her bed and in the washer, get her cleaned up and back to bed. It took a good hour. Again, going to dinner last night was a mistake. I let the girls drink a lot of tea and boy did I pay! We really have to watch her and make sure we limit her fluid intake starting directly after dinner.
Well, that is what is going on with these chicks. I have everyone in bed and I'm just hoping, hoping, hoping that everyone sleeps tonight. I'm wondering about you and missing you awful.

Day 20, without you.
