Spider fighter.
Last night was a long night. We were under tornado watch and as you know, that freaks me out. I've decided our laundry room is the safest place to go if the sirens go off, so before I went to sleep, I took some blankets, spare diapers, radio/cd player, the girls DVD player, and a flash light in there.
I went digging through our bucket in the garage of camping gear looking for the lantern and radio. I didn't have the right batteries for the lantern, but I was able to get batteries into our radio. Once I got those in, I turned it on and do you know what was playing on the CD player? Marilyn Manson! I thought that was hilarious.
Anyway, it rained cats and dogs, the wind sounded terrible and of course, every passing car was finally the tornado coming to get us! I feel asleep and an hour or so later, Autumn ended up in the bed. I think the thunder scared her. I let her stay because I figured if something went down, it was better for her to be close to me.
I don't believe we had any tornadoes in central Georgia. It is still raining and thundering, but I don't believe we are under anymore watches.
We have big plans for today, I'll have to share with you tomorrow, but this morning, Autumn told me:
"When I grow up, I want to be a spider fighter." Or as most humans call it, a fire fighter! That girl makes me laugh so hard. After a bit we hear some noise coming from Miss Millie's room.
She was busy computing. I hope she didn't work through the night!
I wanted you to see her happy face this morning.
Autumn has been napping out lately. I didn't realize she was even asleep. It has been nice and quiet around here. I wonder how things are going in your world?
Missing you terribly!
